Ben & Ivy

A few weeks back, before the cold and before the snow, we were privileged enough to spend the afternoon and night with Ben and Ivy. The reception and ceremony were held at an adorable and amazing restaurant called Aurora in Williamsburg, NYC. Ben and Ivy are a couple that compliment each other so well, and have the most amazing friends and family. Here are a couple sneak peaks from the day. ENJOY!

Coney Island

As some of you may know, we had a little engagement session on Sunday with a lovely couple, Mel & Danny. Other than it being a little cold, we got so lucky with the weather! We spent a couple hours down in Coney Island which always lends itself to fun, awesome photos! It is always a crazy place to see when the sun goes down as well. In the two hours we were there we had homeless people coming up trying to touch our camera equipment, danced at a Rasta festival/gathering, went to a metal concert, and had crazy old guys making faces at us. If you ever need a little getaway and want to laugh.....visit Coney Island.

Mel & Danny are an awesome couple, and we had a blast spending the evening with them, taking photos and getting to know them a little better. We look forward to photographing their awesome dance moves at their wedding! Here is a sample of the engagement shoot.

Flowers are everything

When you show up to a wedding, everything could be exquisite, but if there are no flowers, or cheap flowers it can really dull things down. Being in New York City or up north, we are seeing a lot of different types of flowers being used in so many different ways. It is absolutely crazy what flowers can do to really spice up a venue.....or bride!

We have some very exciting times coming up with Lucky Me Photography! If you haven't noticed yet, our website is down, but we are trying to decide if we want to renew the one we had or redo a new one. Soon enough though there will be a new website for everyone to view! This next weekend we have two shoots with some amazing couples so stay tuned for new photos. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

A FLORIDA wedding...

With Ashley and Andrew. We know, we know, you're probably thinking where did Aimee and Tyler go, they haven't posted anything in a month! Well, lets just say two full time jobs, doesn't make it the easiest to get away and do photography.

BUT!

We are back in the swing of things, and will have many updates to come.

about 3 weeks ago, We got to fly down to Florida one last time and photograph a wedding for two dear friend, Ashley and Andrew. It was nice to escape the GO GO GO of New York City and be back in FL. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and although it rained all weekend, everyone has a great time. Here are just a few sneak peak images from the day. ENJOY!
